Frequently Asked Questions

Play Sessions, Classes, Play Space & Cafe

May I drop off my child for a Play Session or Class?

No. Children must be accompanied and supervised by a Caregiver at all times.

How many children am I allowed to bring?

No more than 4 children per Caregiver.

 

How long is each Play Session?

Each Play Session is 3 hours long with a set beginning and end time:

AM Play Sessions are from 9:00am - 12:00pm

PM Play Sessions are from 12:30pm - 3:30pm

You do not need to arrive immediately at the beginning of the Play Session, but must leave at the set end time. The break between each Play Session is dedicated to resetting the toys and sanitizing the entire play space.

 

May I use the play space with my child?

Yes! We encourage Caregivers to enjoy the play space with their children!

 

Do I have to take off my shoes?

Yes. Inside the gated play space is socks-only for all adults and children (no shoes, no bare feet). Shoes may remain on if you are outside the gated play space.

What if I don’t have socks?

We have child and adult sized socks available to purchase and keep.

​

Do you have a maximum capacity?

Yes. The maximum capacity in the play space is 20 children per Play Session or Class

​

May I bring my own food and drink?

*No. We offer a wide range of allergen-friendly snacks and beverages for purchase in the cafe. You are welcome to bring your own water bottles and sippy cups as well as bottles to feed babies.

*Exceptions: We allow customers to order nut-free food from the restaurants in our plaza and enjoy it in our cafe area

Can I eat or drink inside the gated play space?

No. You are welcome to enjoy your snacks and drinks at a table in the cafe area or at the high top tables overlooking the play space.​

What is the booking and cancellation policy for Play Sessions and Classes?

  • We do not require reservations for a Play Session or Classes, but we highly recommend making a reservation to guarantee availability

  • We always accept walk-ins for any Play Session or Class that is not already at full capacity

  • You may log into your account to reschedule or cancel (for a full refund) your reservation up to 5 minutes before your scheduled Play Session or Class time begins

  • Refunds and reschedules will not be provided after the Play Session or Class start time

 

I’m breastfeeding; what accommodations are available for me?

We are a breastfeeding-friendly facility and encourage you to feed your child however you feel comfortable. We have nursing pillows available upon request. If you would like additional privacy, please utilize our Feeding Lounge.

 

I have a child that’s older than 6 years old; can they play in the play space?

Our play space is designed specifically for children ages 0-6. You may pay for your older child(ren) to play inside the play space, however, the expectation is that they respect the play space and remain cautious of the smaller children playing around them. Stomping Grounds staff reserves the right to ask older children to leave the play space if these expectations are not being met. We have craft kits available for purchase to occupy older children outside the play space.

 

What happens if I leave something behind?

Please ensure you have all your personal items when you leave, as we are not responsible for lost or stolen items. If you realize you’ve left something behind, please come retrieve it as soon as possible. We do have a lost and found and unclaimed items will be donated on a regular basis.

 

Do you have highchairs?

Yes. We have 2 highchairs available for use in the cafe area.

Pricing & Memberships

 

Do I need to purchase a Pass for adults or infants-in-arms?

No. Adults and infants-in-arms are always free! When booking a Play Session or Class, only select and pay for the number of children who will be playing or participating​​. Infants-in-arms are children who are being held or are in a carrier during the entire visit.

How much does a Play Pass or a Class cost?

$10 for a Single Play Pass or Class (one pass per child)

How much does a Co-Working Pass cost?

$45 for a Single Co-Working Pass (one pass per child)

Do you offer Muti-Passes & Monthly Memberships?

Yes!

What other discounts are included with a Monthly Membership?

Monthly Membership holders receive 10% off all cafe purchases

​

When does my Monthly Membership renew?

Monthly Memberships renew on the date of purchase each month (example: you purchase your Monthly Membership on January 6th, it will renew on the 6th of each month going forward) 

​

Who can use my Pass or Monthly Membership?

Passes and Monthly Memberships are not tied to a specific child and may be used for siblings, cousins or friends. Other Caregivers may use them at the discretion of the Caregiver who made the purchase.

​

What if I don’t use all the Passes included in my Monthly Membership in a month?

Unused Passes do not roll over and will be forfeited at the end of each month.

How do I cancel my Monthly Membership?

You may cancel your Monthly Membership at any time before the next billing date.

Co-Working with Child Minder

​What is included in a Co-Working Session?

A Co-Working Desk for 1 adult for 3 hours, unlimited hot drip coffee & noise cancelling Bluetooth headphones. A Child Minder for 1 child for 3 hours, 2 snacks, play time in our play space, and developmental play-skills time in our classroom

What is the Child Minder schedule during a Co-Working Session?*

Play in Play Space - first 60 minutes

Snack in Cafe - 15 minutes

Developmental Play-Skills Program in Classroom - 60 minutes

Play in Play Space - last 45 minutes

*schedule is subject to change as-needed

What else do I need to know about a Co-Working Session?​

  • Please bring socks and a water bottle for each child

  • Child Minders cannot change children’s diapers or assist in the bathroom

  • Child Minders cannot feed bottles

  • Child Minder to Child Ratio is 1:4

  • Co-Working office is equipped with live stream of cameras in the Play Space, Cafe & Child Minder Room

  • You will be provided a buzzer at check-in that we will use to alert you if you are needed to help with your child

​

What is the booking and cancellation policy for Co-Working Sessions?​

  • In order to ensure Child Minder availability, reservations are required for Co-Working Sessions (no walk-ins)

  • Co-Working Sessions MUST be booked at least 1 hour in advance of Session start time

  • Co-Working Sessions cannot be cancelled or rescheduled within 1 hour of Session start time

Private Events

What does the price of a Private Event Include?

  • Up to 50 guests (adults & children)

  • Private use of the Cafe & Play Space

  • 30 minutes before Event start time to set up

  • 30 minutes after Event end time to tear down

  • Use of the Cafe’s fridge & freezer

  • Custom Event signage on our TV

  • Use of our Bluetooth speaker and Wi-Fi

  • On-site Party Attendant/Barista

Do you allow outside food & beverages for Private Events?

Yes! Outside and/or homemade food and beverages are permitted, but must remain in the Cafe area. All outside food and beverage MUST be nut-free. One electric slow cooker is allowed, but no other grills or cooking appliances are permitted inside the building.

What is the booking and cancellation policy for Private Events?

  • The full Event price is required to reserve your date and time

  • Cancellations made within 7 days of payment will be refunded the full Event price

  • Events may be rescheduled only once

​

What else do I need to know about Private Events?

  • Payee is responsible and liable for all persons present in the facility during the Event​

  • Our gated play space is a socks-only area for everyone (please let your guests know in advance)

  • Decorations may only be attached to countertops, tables, chairs, and the 8ft x 6ft decor wall in the Cafe area (nothing directly on the walls or the ceilings)

  • Alcohol, confetti, glitter, and piñatas are not permitted (pull-string piñatas are acceptable)

  • Private Event add-ons must be booked at least 3 weeks prior to Event date in order to ensure availability
