Service Description

Thursdays during the 11:30am Play Session 10/17/24 through 11/21/24 This is a 6-week long session and is specifically for 3-6 year olds. Yoga class, craft & pizza are included each week! Younger siblings may play in the play space for FREE during class. Class is included in the 2 hour Play Session: 11:30am to 12:15pm - Arrival & eat pizza 12:15pm to 1:00pm - Full Bloom Yoga class & craft 1:00pm to 1:30pm - Play some more! No makeups or refunds for missed classes are available. A gentle and fun introduction to yoga and mindful moments! Kids ages 3-6 will enjoy this program created to serve as the foundation of healthy and necessary social and emotional life skills. These classes consist of movement, music, yoga, games, mindfulness practice, and breath work, all with age appropriate expectations. Class will take place outside the gated play space in the cafe area on our special class rug. All equipment will be provided. Caregivers must remain inside our facility during class. The theme for this Session is “Amazing Me” Week 1 - The Heart: Focusing on feeling our heartbeat and connecting our heart rate with feelings and actions (e.g. when we're excited it gets fast, when we dance around it gets fast, when we do resting pose it slows down, etc.) Week 2 - The Breath: Learning to use our breath as a tool to help us calm our bodies and minds, practicing breath control Week 3 - The Brain: Learning to recognize our thoughts and using positive affirmations to handle challenging yoga poses, handling emotions during games, etc. Week 4 - Practicing Self-Control: Purposely disregulating ourselves through silly song/dance, taking our poses fast and slow, then using breath, poses, other relaxation skills to re-regulate ourselves Week 5 - Strong Body, Strong Mind: Focusing on all of the great things our bodies are capable of- working together in partner and individual poses and games to practice our strength and work through challenges, more affirmations Week 6 - Unique You: Celebrating our differences and what we love about ourselves, using our creativity to create our own yoga poses and move our bodies
